Craigslist

Craigslist is a free classified advertisements website with sections about jobs, things for sale, services, gigs, community, items wanted, discussion forums, and more. One of the things I really like about Craigslist is that you can post a free posting without even signing up, simply go to the home page, click the “post to classifieds” link, and then you can post a free ad without logging in or having an account. However, if you want to edit, delete or repost more easily you’ll have to create an account.

Craigslist was created by Craig Newmark, the service started out in 1995 as an email distribution list of friends, which featured local events in the San Francisco Bay Area, in 1996 it became a web-based service that anyone could access by simply going to Craigslist.org. The service now covers the U.S. and 50 more countries such as Canada, Germany, United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, India, China, Japan, Kuwait, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Uruguay, Panama, Chile, Egypt, Kenya, and South African among many more.

To start using this service you will first have to create an account, if you don’t have one yet click the following link to register now: https://accounts.craigslist.org/signup. Once you are on the sign up page enter your email address, followed by the verification word, click “Create Account” and follow instructions.
