Flickr is an image and video hosting website owned and managed by Yahoo! Inc. The site lets users share photos online and it also allows them to embed their pictures anywhere they want, a lot of website owners (webamsters) and bloggers as well as photographers are constantly visit this site to either host images or to find the ideal pictures for their latest projects. As expressed on flickr’s official website “almost certainly the best online photo management and sharing application in the world”, the site has two main goals, the first one is to help people make their photos available to the people who matter to them, and the second one is to provide us (the users) with new ways of organizing photos and video on the web.[1]

Go to http://www.flickr.com/signup, click the blue button located at the bottom right corner of the page that says “Create New Account”, fill out the entire registration form, and then click on the “Create Account” button that you’ll see near the bottom of the page.
