Instagram is a free online photo-sharing and social networking service that allows users to take pictures and share them through other social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter for exmaple. The service sets itself apart from the rest because it has a truly unique feature which displays photos in a square shaped frame, similar to Kodak Instamatic and Polaroid images. The service was launched in 2010 and it already has over 100 million active users worldwide, in fact, its success has been so big that Facebook bought the company for over $1 billion dollars.
I have to admit that since I wrote this article I’ve become quite an Instagram addict myself, it all started very slowly, but now I find myself taking selfies every now and then. At the beginning I thought that the whole idea or concept behind this app service was pretty useless, but after using it for months I’ve now come to realize that it is in fact a very powerful tool, you can reach a lot of people with very little effort on your end, you just have to share stuff that people actually like, you also have to use tags to allow better discoverability, if you do things right people will start following you, and only the sky’s the limit.
Why do I say such things? Well, it’s simple really, I’ve personally seen a lot of different people become well known experts in their field, the kind of experts that everyone follows and listens to. I’ve seen real life leaders, as well as celebrities emerge from the photo-sharing and social networking service that everyone likes to use. Even companies and brands from all around the world have now turned their heads and attention towards Instagram, and guess what, they’re all getting great results, that’s why they keep using and relying on it more often.
Instagram Login (Mobile App Sign In) – Account Access Tutorial
1. Tap the Instagram icon on your phone or tablet’s home screen.
2. Tap on the “Log In” button located at the bottom of the app’s sign in page.
3. Enter your username or email address in the first field of the access form located right in the center of your phone’s screen.
4. Enter your Instagram user password in the second field box.
5. Click the blue check button (check mark icon) located at the top right corner of your screen and that’s it, you have successfully logged in to your new account, enjoy!
Instagram Sign In Online With A Computer or Mobile
You can use this method to access your new Insta account using any device that has access an internet connection, and also a web browser of course. As I mentioned earlier, it really doesn’t matter if you’re using a PC, Mac, Android, iOS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, etc; if you have an internet connection, then you’re good to go!
1. Go to the site’s login page located at the following url: https://instagram.com/accounts/login/#.
2. Enter your username in the first field of the access form located in the center of your screen.
3. Enter your password in the second field.
4. Click the green button at the bottom that says “Log In” and you are done.
Instagram Sign Up
To start using this service you will first have to download and install the app for free in order to create an account. If you’re an Android user visit Google Play to get it from there. If you’re using an iOS powered mobile device then simply go to the Apple App Store on iTunes to get it from there instead. After downloading the app you will have to install it, after the installation process is complete open up the app on your device, tap the “Register with Facebook” button if you want to make the registration process easier and quicker. But if you want to keep your Facebook account separated from your Instagram account, then tap on the “Register With Email” button instead, then fill out the registration form (enter your email, username, and password), and then tap on the blue check button (check mark icon) located at the top right corner of your phone or tablet’s screen. Once you have completed the sign up process come back to this page to learn how to access your new Instagram.com account using your mobile device, or online via the site’s web app using your PC or Mac computer. So all in all, it really doesn’t matter if you’re running the program on Mac or PC desktop or laptop computer, with our help help you’ll be able to get into your account no matter what device you’re using.
You can also login with Facebook, but I will explain that later. For now I’ll explain another way to access your account using a desktop computer. Just search for a program called “Blue Stacks” using your favorite search engine, once you find it, you’ll need to download it and then install it.
Once you have installed blue stacks in your PC or Mac computer run the program and then search for “Instagram” using the software’s search function, once you find what you’re looking for double click on the Instagram icon and follow the steps you’ll be prompted to sign up or access your account using this program.
