Blackboard is a virtual learning environment provided by NUI Galway University for students and staff, this virtual learning environmnet (VLE) is an advanced technological medium that supports teaching and learning activities online, as well as assessment, examination, and more.[1]
To create an account go to http://www.nuigalway.ie/registration/, and click on the purple button located on the right side of your screen that says “Online Registration”.
Blackboard Login – Step By Step Tutorial
1. Go to the site’s sign in page located at the following url: https://nuigalway.blackboard.com/webapps/login/.
2. Enter your username in the first field of the access form located in the center of your screen.
3. Enter your user password in the second field box.
4. Now simply click the blue button at the bottom of the access form that says “Login” and that’s it, you are in!
