Postini is an email and web security service which was acquired by Google in the year 2007 for $625 million dollars in cash, since then the services have been known as “Google Postini Services”. In 2011, Google announced it would discontinue and shut down several services including Postini’s web services. Postini provides cloud computing services for filtering email spam and malware, once messages have passed all security checks they will be automatically delivered to a client’s mail server. Once received, users can archive their emails to keep track of their web history and usage, and it also protects client networks from malware.

1. Go to the site’s sign in page located at the following url: https://login.postini.com/.
2. The first step in this process is to enter your Log In address in the first field of the access form located right in the middle of your screen.
3. Enter your Postini user password in the second field.
4. Now simply click the green “Log In” button located right beneath the access form and that’s it, you are in!
If you can’t remember or forgot your password try this: First, enter the email address that you were issued by your email provider, the password should be the same as your email account password, unless of course you were assigned a new password in the activation email. Google suggests that you try signing in with the password that accompanies your ISP email account, if that password doesn’t work, check the error message for instructions on how to reset your password.
